Clean Pain vs. Dirty Pain

All emotional pain is not the same.

Learning about clean pain and dirty pain was helpful for me. Knowing the difference caused a shift out of unnecessary worry, rumination, and blame. Understanding these two types of emotional pain can help you live a more peaceful life.

Dealing With Pain the Natural Way

When it comes to sporting injuries, joint pain, and even arthritis, many of us will turn to over the counter (or OTC) medicines to help us work through the pain.

Synthetic medicine has been a crutch to lean on for the vast majority of us at some point in our lives.

The Road Not Taken

It’s hard to put into words what I’m feeling.

I mean, I could try, and I have but none of what I have to say is a true reflection of my experiences over the last week. Does that ever happen to you? Do words ever fail to describe the events that have happened to you and the subsequent feelings associated with those events?

I could say I am happy, I am amazed, I am inspired – all would be true. 

I could say that I am still in disbelief that what happened happen – that would be true too.

Yoga or Advil?

Exploitation of yoga in advertising is nothing new. When a product wants to associate with a low-stress or healthy lifestyle, invariably, the commercial features people doing yoga poses. Increasing popularity of yoga makes the marketing demographic undeniable.

There was an Advil campaign that took this phenomenon to another level. Instead of merely showing imagery of yoga practice, there is an actual yoga teacher addressing the camera directly as spokesperson. She says:
