The Importance of Receiving Appreciation

Mike recently turned 40 and was showered with well wishes and appreciation from his loved ones.  While he was grateful, he also realized that receiving so much appreciation can sometimes be difficult. Why is it hard for us to receive a compliment? Appreciation is a beautiful gift.  Accept it.
