In early October, five evōx members traveled to Austin to participate at the SXSW Eco conference. Over the course of 3 days we interviewed over 40 inspiring people, hosted the Welcome Reception and shared about evōx in the Expo Center (where everyone won a fun evōx-inspired prize). It was an action-packed and fun-filled set of days!
The "Welcome Reception" took place at the end of the first full day. The party was incredibly well-attended and full of interactive activities that engaged everyone (especially the colorful and fun animal bikes created by the Austin Bike Zoo and the solar powered phone charging station brought to us by Sol Design Lab).
evōx also turned the microphone and conducted short and sweet interviews with people leading businesses, shaping communities, and recreating how we consume and “live” on this planet. Interviews included:
- Adam Werbach, Yerdle
- Annie Longsworth, Saatchi & Saatchi S
- Adrian Grenier & Peter Glatzer, SHFT
- Ron Finley
- Meghan Nesbit, change.org
- Pam Marcus, The Cookie Department & Lifefactory
- Jay Coen Gilbert, B Corp
Plus many, many more!
Additionally, Xav Dubois (evōx founder) had a great interview with Nick Aster from Triple Pundit where he shared about how people are accessing entertainment in the new television space and how evox is focused on improving everyone’s overall quality of life.
We’re already looking forward to SXSW Eco next year!
The following is an interview with Adam Werbach of Yerdle. Check out our SXSW Eco show page to see all the other interviews.
